New stuff
So I have found a great new artist and I can’t wait to grab his entire album, Cory Asbury. I enjoy his style, and the fact that he actually does sing well while being semi-rap.
So Katie and I was talking last night about why everyone is in an uproar about Obama’s education speech yesterday. One of the ideas that I had was that conservatives are feeling that they have the upperhand right now in politics bc of the amount of indesisiveness they have built up in America over healthcare. ( this does not mean I support the healthcare plan) so now they have this upperhand in the media they will start to go after Obama in all fronts, including yesterdays speech. I haven’t been able to read the entire script but I haven’t anything really bad about it. Still think God and prayer should be back in schools because even statistically how much it helps the students. But thats only my hope an prayer. But this level of media and issues has already been attempted on former President George HW Bush in 1991, and the politicians lost in court. I think this will fad into the background very quickly when everyone starts reviewing the healthcare bill.
So there ya go, some of my ideas.
Some personal stuff. We visited the Lincoln Park Zoo on Labor Day/ Monday and really enjoyed it. It is a great zoo and very clean. I was very sad to hear from my wife that the crime in that area has increased lately.
